Depression

She felt the darkness enveloping her. It had thorns, which moulded her body into a cocoon to protect itself against the closing world. The dark felt endless in depth; a reflection of her loneliness. Her body shudders outward, holding back tears. She often thought about clawing herself out of this cavern but this feeling of darkness was more an endless abyss. There was no fire exit; no map; no light to follow.
